The DCD470 has a variable speed trigger and two speed settings which enable it to run at a maximum of either 400RPM or 1250RPM. It can supply up to 135Nm of torque and has an E-Clutch to protect the operator against violent twisting if a bit jams. DeWalt’s E-Clutch feature detects reactionary torque caused by binding or stalling and reduces speed to a manageable level, enabling the operator to safely regain control of the machine. The slim head profile allows the machine to be used in restrictive workspaces and the metal gear housing protects against accidental impacts and damages. Part of the DeWalt Flexvolt range, the DCD470 is a cordless machine which runs on high power 54v lithium ion ranges, combined with an energy efficient brushless motor which helps to ensure runtimes can be extended for as long as possible.
