The M14 to Hex adapter converts the drill bits to be used in a traditional drill chuck on high speed. One adapter will fit every size of drill. These bits are designed to be used dry at high speed. It’s the speed that does the cutting, you’re letting the diamonds do the work. Do not put pressure on the drill this will shorten the life of the bits. If drilling multiple holes in sequence, it helps to have a cup of water to hand to dip the bit in periodically to help keep it cool.
