The trailer features a unique proportional hydraulic feed mechanism eliminating troublesome screw feed problems and reducing operational time. Directional control of the drill feed cylinder and feed pressure control are both operated from one simple lever, giving the operator precise control irrespective of the material being cored. Air blast cooling for the hydraulic system is incorporated as standard ensuring that the unit is completely independent of the amount of water used in the drilling process, and the’Box’ chassis design eliminates stresses on the tank during transport, which can cause welded seam failure. The drill carriage and foot platform guide bars are corrosion free stainless steel with pre-lubricated bushes & heavy-duty scraper rings giving optimum service life. Prime mover: Lister Petter LPWS 3 cylinder (27HP diesel) optional. Drill motor: 200 > 400/400 > 800 – dual speed motor.
